Brianna H. Long is an associate attorney at Thomas Law. Born and raised in Minnesota, Brianna moved to Chicago in 2014 to attend college at Loyola University, where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2017. Brianna continued on to earn her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. During her time at DePaul, Brianna served as president of the Women’s Bar Association and as a teaching assistant for Constitutional Law courses. She received numerous honors and awards, including multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, and was selected to be one of only four recipients of DePaul Law’s Class of 1962 Scholarship for her contributions to the College of Law.
Brianna first joined Thomas Law as a law clerk in May 2019, while she was still in law school, and remained part of the firm as an associate attorney after her graduation. She appreciates the culture of family and respect that Thomas Law offers to its employees and to its clients alike, as well as the zealous representation and compassion that Thomas Law extends to its clients. Brianna strives to focus on the individual needs of each client and understands the value of creating an attorney-client relationship focused on communication, trust, and achieving common goals. Brianna witnessed the pain, suffering, and lasting damage caused by negligence firsthand in 2016, when her younger sister was involved in an automobile accident; she understands that although no amount of compensation can make up for physical pain, there is value in working hard to help make clients whole. Brianna takes that knowledge and passion for justice into each and every case she handles with clients at Thomas Law.
